Her commitment to understanding and supporting diverse needs is underscored by her diploma in special needs education and multiple certifications in Autism, Asperger’s, and ADHD from the University of Derby.
A celebrated multimedia personality, Adenike has received numerous media award nominations and recognitions. Her insightful perspectives led to a compelling TEDx Gbagada talk in 2017 on philanthropy and empathy. Driven by a profound passion for disability advocacy, she founded the Amputees United Initiative, a vital social support network.
Adenike’s impactful work has positioned her as a sought-after host, moderator, and panelist across various platforms. She served in the significant role of Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Persons With Disability.
As a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation GoalKeeper, she actively champions the inclusion of persons with disabilities in Nigeria. Adenike is also a proud recipient of the Access Power of 100 across Africa and the author of her inspiring memoir, #Adénìké.
She is currently the General Manager at the Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA).
